What is a product variant?

A product variant is like a 'sub-product' under your main product. It is used to display options or properties of a certain product such as, t-shirt size (ie small, medium, large etc.) bottle size (750ml, 1.5L etc.) ticket price (single, adult, child etc). 

You can add your product variants at the time of product setup. For more information on how to add products in Commerce7, click here.

You variants will then display as a drop-down on the product both on your website and POS.
