Subscription Club with Same Recurring Products

Allow Subscription Club members to receive the same products for every shipment

How does it work?
This feature allows Subscription Club members to receive the same products every shipment.
  • Members have the flexibility to modify their product selections at any time. Additionally, they can choose to disable this feature, which will revert their membership back to the default or personalized shipment options.
  • If a product runs out of stock, an admin can replace (swap) the product and send an email to the member letting them know.



Set Up
Instructions for configuring a Subscription Club to ship the same Items with each shipment.

  1. Go to Clubs > select or add a Subscription Club.
  2. Under the Settings section, you will see a toggle for 'Allow customers to save products selections'.

  3. Once enabled, here's what will happen:
    1. Customers: When customers are online (either signing up or updating their shipment preferences), they will have the option to select the same products for each shipment.
    2. Admins: When viewing a membership, admins will have the ability to enable this setting - and select the specific products that the club member wishes to receive with each shipment.

Membership

Choosing the recurring items in Admin.

  1. Go to Clubs > Memberships and select a Subscription Membership.
  2. Go to the Shipment Items section.
    1. By default it's set to 'System sets products for each shipment'. This means that that member's shipments will be generated using one of the two the standard Subscription Club settings:
      1. If a Default Shipment is set, then that will be used.
      2. If no Default Shipment is set, then C7's personalization engine will be used.
  3. The admin can edit and instead choose 'Customer sets products for each shipment'. If this is selected, they must search to select which products the customer wants to receive.

    1. They can only search from the Subscription Club items.

    2. Any product minimums or maximums are still enforced.
    3. If they try to add less than the club minimum quantity, they will receive an error.

  4. When the member's next shipment is generated, it will be created using the selected products.

  5. At any time, the member (or admin) can adjust the setting back to use the system default.

What the Customer/Member Sees Online 

When signing up online or editing their shipment, the Customer/Member will see a setting to either:
    1. Receive new products each shipment - System sets > Subscription Club default.
    2. Receive the same products each shipment - Customer sets > new option to save items. 
      1. If 'Receive the same products each shipment' is selected, once the member signs up, C7 will save the products to their membership.
      2. When their next shipment is approaching, they will have the opportunity to review their selected products and make any adjustments as desired.

Product Swap Notification

To accommodate members who have enrolled in the Subscription Club for specific products, there is a dedicated transaction email titled 'Club Subscription Product Swap' that is sent out when a product swap occurs.

  1. Under Club > Clubs > select a Subscription Club.
  2. Under the Items tab click Edit on a product, then Swap.
  3. Swap product(s) as-needed. Learn more about swaps here.
  4. You will see a checkbox with the option to notify members of the product replacement.
  5. If selected, this will notify both memberships that have the product saved with the new setting AND any members who have it in an upcoming shipment.
