      How long should printing a POS receipt take?

      • If your printer is set to Cloud, the printer will check for a new receipt every 15 seconds.
        • This means printing will take somewhere between one to 15 seconds depending on when the last poll was done. 
      • If your printer is set to Local, the receipt will print instantly.
        • To print locally, there is some setup and requirements for your printer. To learn more about how to set up direct printing (and if you printer is compatible), view this doc.

      To check what your current printer settings are (and change them), go to Settings > POS Profile.
