Steps for changing Local Printer configuration to Cloud Printer configuration

Making the switch to a new printer configuration can seem daunting, but by following a few straightforward troubleshooting steps, you can ensure a smooth transition. Understanding the process and being aware of common issues can help you avoid potential pitfalls. Below, we outline essential steps to verify and configure your settings, ensuring that your printer operates seamlessly with Commerce7.

  1. In Commerce7, to to Settings > POS Profile.

  2. Click into the applicable POS Profile and scroll to the Printers section. Take note of the Printer ID.

  3. Open up the EpsonNet Config.
  4. Confirm that the Printer ID from Commerce7 matches the ID and Name in the Epson screen.

  5. Open up the Network > Basic tab.
  6. Configure your settings so that they look like the below screenshot. (Note that depending on your Epson Printer model, the fields may look a little different or be in a different position on the page).
