Wine Clubs
- Two types of Clubs: Commerce7 has two types of club setup options - Traditional and Subscription.
- Traditional Clubs - You can choose if you'd like members to be able to edit their products online, similarly to WineDirect's "User Choice" setting.
- Subscription Clubs - This is a modern club option that allows you to offer more flexibility to your members, spread your club revenue throughout the year, and reduce manual work required by your team. You specify a set of products that can be included in club shipments, and member shipments are automatically processed based on when they sign up and the shipment frequency that they chose such as every 2 months, 3 months, etc.
- Automation: With Commerce7, you'll find additional automation not available in WineDirect.
- You can set a date and time for your club shipments to automatically process in the background, with the option to process members individually or in bulk before that date/time.
- Automated emails are sent to members for upcoming club shipments and prompting them to update their credit card on a decline.
- Engaging Online Signup: For customers online, there's a much more visual signup process for new members and shipment editing process for existing members. New members are incentivized to join the club by seeing the product offering and potential discount upfront, and existing members are able to easily add to their club shipment. - Features not offered in Commerce7: Commerce7 does not have set features for "Welcome Packages" and "PrePay", but we have a couple of suggestions:
- Although Commerce7 does not offer a specific "Welcome Packages" feature, you have the flexibility to choose products to include in the first shipment for members who sign up in the tasting room, replacing the standard shipment offerings.
- Rather prepaying a fixed amount, members can utilize gift cards towards their club membership. When gift cards are applied, they will automatically reduce the cost of upcoming club shipments, with any remaining balance charged to the card on file only if necessary.
Ecommerce
With as few as 10 fields for customers to complete, Commerce7’s ecommerce experience is built to boost your conversion rate and decrease cart abandonment. It includes features such as mobile payment options (Apple Pay/Google Pay), cart carrots, options to personalize your content based on the customer visiting, and more.
Reservations
C7's Built-in Reservations platform: You can utilize the same platform to efficiently book and manage reservations, providing you with a comprehensive overview of each guest, including their ecommerce and club history. Additionally, this system enables customers to maintain a single account for all interactions related to your winery.
Easy for Staff: Employees can easily switch between the Reservations platform and the Point of Sale (POS) system to initiate orders for guests, whether during their reservation or beforehand.
Tock: If you are currently utilizing Tock for reservations, you can seamlessly integrate it with Commerce7, which can be easily set up through our App Store.
Reports
At a high level, both WineDirect and Commerce7 offer robust reporting capabilities. Although there are some differences in terms of download functionality and terminology, once you familiarize yourself with the system, we are confident you will find that Commerce7 provides the reporting tools you need (and more).
The Main Difference:
To export your sales data in Commerce7, you will utilize both the Reports and the Queries Builder. Unlike WineDirect, where certain reports provide a list of individual orders, Commerce7 reports focus on summarizing total sales. To obtain a detailed breakdown of individual orders, you'll need to make use of the Queries Builder as well.
What Commerce7 offers:
- Real-time Data: Data is generated in real-time, therefore there is no lag/delay in getting your results.
- Dashboard: Reporting Dashboard that displays data with visual charts and graphs.
- Customization: You have the ability to customize reports without limits, thanks to our open API. If you need specific reports that are not included by default, you have the ability to have them built using our apps and integrations.
Additional Features & Info
- Integrations and Apps: Commerce7 is designed on a cutting-edge technology stack and functions entirely on an API-driven architecture. With a robust network of over 100 integrated partners and a collaborative community of more than 800 professionals, Commerce7 offers extensive possibilities for seamless integrations.
