How Do I Block a Time Slot in Reservations?

In Commerce7, you have the ability to block a time slot on your reservation type for a specific day. This will block customers and admin from booking a reservation during that time.  

Examples of when you might want to block a location are for special events, large or special groups that may take longer than the usual time allotted etc. 

Blocking Time

You can block tome starting from the Availability tab or Reservations tab. Then, select "Block Location" at the top right.

Use the drop down menu to select the Reservation Type you want to block time slots, then select "Add Block Time". 

Next, enter the Date and time frame you wish to block under that reservation type. Then select "Block Reservation Time". 

The blocked times will appear on the specified date under the Availability tab listed below "Blackout Dates", it will list the Reservation Type, start time and end time. The time slots for that reservation type will be removed from the availability column. 

Remove/Delete Blocked Time

All the blocked dates and times you have added will be listed under each related Reservation Type.  

Click on Applicable Reservation Type.

Choose the Blackout Date Tab and then click the Delete Button.
