Switching POS Profiles
Easily switch the POS to use a different POS Profile
If you have multiple POS Profiles, there are times when you may want to switch those Profiles. (Example: You may have a single iPad that is used for the Patio in the morning - and then it's used for the Cave in the afternoon). This necessitates switching from the Patio POS Profile to the Cave POS Profile.
Switching POS Profiles
- Navigate to the POS.
- In the upper left, click the menu icon (three horizontal lines).
- Upon clicking the menu icon in the upper left, a menu will expand, displaying the current Profile being utilized in the lower left corner.
- To change it, click the 'Change POS Profile' link.
- In the modal, use the dropdown to select the POS Profile you want to use.
- Click the Set POS Profile button.
- Now all future Orders/Carts created will use the settings from the newly chosen POS Profile.
Note: Carts/Orders will always reference the settings from the POS Profile that was selected when it was initially created. This cannot be changed. If you want the Cart to use a different POS profile, you'll need to discard the Cart and start again under the preferred Profile.
