      How can I create test orders if our gateway is PayGate?

      The PayGate integration uses a hosted payment checkout where you are redirected to PayGate's form to enter payment details. For testing front end website transactions you must follow these instructions.

      Step 1: Configure your gateway settings for testing PayGate

      • Is Active = Active
      • Mode = Development
      • PayGate Testing ID(s) = 10011072130
      • PayGate Testing encryption key = secret

       

      Step 2: Ensure your currency is set to ZAR and your website URL is set to your staging/development website url:

      • Website URL: https://yourstagingsite.domain.com
      • Currency: ZAR

       

      Step 3: Use the PayGate test cards during checkout process, different cards provide different responses ie. success or decline.
