Can the "Email Marketing Status" be set to "Subscribed" by default?
There is no way to have Email Marketing Status set to Subscribed by default, and this is by design.
Customers must actively choose to subscribe to your mailing list by checking the subscription checkbox, as this action represents their consent.
Our research indicates that automatically subscribing individuals without their explicit approval violates spam regulations in many regions.
