Differences between old WinePulse and new WinePulse

Old WinePulse vs New WinePulse

Who does this apply to?

This applies to tenants who have migrated from the old WinePulse to the new WinePulse and are not currently paying for the WinePulse service.

Channel Mapping

There is no more custom channel mapping in the new WinePulse.

  • POS orders in C7 are mapped to the Tasting Room sales channel in WinePulse.

  • Inbound, Club and Web orders in C7 are mapped to the same-named sales channels in WinePulse.

  • A custom implementation of channel mapping is available in the paying version of WinePulse.

Tasters Count

The historical count of tasters from the old WinePulse will be migrated to the tasters count inside Commerce7. As soon as they are live on the
new WinePulse, the tasters count in WinePulse will be based solely on the tasters information entered in Commerce7, and no longer on counting quantities associated with specific tasting SKUs.

Learn how Tasters are defined within Commerce7 here.

Sample Orders

In the new version of WinePulse, sample orders are not included in the calculation of Wine Order Conversion Rate or Wine Average Order Value. This capability is planned for a future release.

Daily Emails

Wineries will continue to receive the daily DTC Overview email and the weekly WineClub Snapshot. Any other subscriptions set up in the old WinePulse will need to be recreated manually in the new WinePulse.

Learn how to set up email subscriptions here.

Custom Work

Any custom work created in the old WinePulse will not be carried over to the new WinePulse.
