  • Commerce7 Payments Reconciliation - We need a few beta testers for our payouts and transaction reconciliation reporting. If you are using Commerce7 Payments and want to beta test this please email andrew@commerce7.com
  • POS Club Signup and Club Shipment Editing - We need a few beta testers for new functionality on the POS. Signup a new club member on the POS and use the current tasting room order as their first club shipment. The second piece to this - if an existing club member walks into the tasting room, you can create a POS order and use that as their next club shipment. If you are using Commerce7 Payments and want to beta test this please email andrew@commerce7.com
  • Bulk Actions - If you do a compliance recheck via bulk actions, you can now choose to ignore address errors.

  • Security - We have put in more security/validation around or firstnames/lastnames and are limiting data to not contain special characters (other than an ampersand). We've been fighting some spam bots this weekend - we may roll back the strictness here, but we are giving it a try. We've also put in more security around forms being posted from the web.

  • Corporate Orders - Corporate Order import template has been updated to now have the ability to have a shipping service, shipping date, set shipping price, and shipping instructions (on a shipment by shipment basis)
  • Promotions / Coupons - Promotions and coupons that are targeted at products now allow for excluding products. Promotions and coupons now allow for maximums (previously just had minimum thresholds)
  • Orders - On the promotion screen on an order you can now see if the customer was logged in when the promotions were applied (making it easier to troubleshoot promotions).
  • POS - We have removed the 'Hand Back' windows to make it slightly less clicks when shipping an order or checking out.

  • Tracking Number Uploader App - The Tracking Number Uploader App by Treefrog Digital allows you to import/upload tracking numbers in bulk into Commerce7. Learn more.
  • First Time Customer Report - The first time customer report has been changed. Previously it would show all the customers who placed one order in a given period. It has been changed to now show customers who bought in a period but never purchased before that period.
  • Repeat Customer Report - The repeat customer report has been changed. Previously it would show all the customers who placed multiple order in a given period. It has been changed to now show customers who bought in a period and had purchases before that period.

    • Checkout - Enhancements made to the checkout process to it easier and quicker for your customers to complete a purchase, even on mobile devices
    • Mobile wallets - Customers can now pay with ApplePay, GooglePay, WeChat Pay and AliPay
    • Clubs - Customers can now select their first shipment right on signup and the process to edit a shipment has been completely redesigned to make it easier and more interactive.
    • Smarter customer portal - Information is surfaced to customers on their dashboard based on their recent activity and notifications let customers know when they have an alert on their account that needs addressing.
    • Apps - Developers can now integrate apps into the order receipt and profile area to give your customers a more seamless experience
    • Accessibility - Big improvements have been made in V2 to improve accessibility across Checkout and the Customer Profile so that all your customers can shop your website.

  • Club Processing - We are now firing the Club Member Shipment Credit Card Decline email for club members with missing credit cards. (Previously it only sent if the credit card declined)
  • Orders - Order cards have been update. We've removed the payment capture card. Fulfillment card now gives a fulfillment date if the order has been fulfilled. We are showing an external vendor card if the order came from an external vendor.
  • Orders - If your are a developer pushing external orders to us, you can now send a rebate sku in the payload (product type of rebate, with a negative dollar amount)
  • Club Members - For wineries that are already trying some of our new club tools, when you export club memberships there is an option to export 'product selection/item detail' with the club membership.
  • Dev Center - App developers now have a security option to request access to create refunds.

  • Klaviyo App - The Klaviyo App by Digimatic is a robust integration with Klaviyo (email and text marketing). Sync customer and product data as well as order and reservation events in real-time with Klaviyo to take advantage of advanced flows and segmentation based on detailed attributes. Events from Klaviyo are pushed back into the customer record in Commerce7. Learn more.
  • Reservations - The property map now shows the customer as the most important attribute on the table (for tables that have reservations)
  • APIs - For developers integrating or migrating reservations - you can now set the starting reservation number similar to setting the starting order number.

  • Security - Commerce7 staff (including senior staff), no longer have the ability to add, edit, or delete any object (customers, orders, products, etc) in your tenant. Previously select Commerce7 staff could assist you by doing tasks for you, all which was logged to their user account. For security reasons they can no longer do this. Select Commerce7 staff can still view objects in your tenant including orders, customers, club members, etc.
  • Dev Center - There is a new extension in the dev center for developers wanting to place 'Cards' on the order detail page

  • Carts - Inventory location can no longer be overriden on an item by item basis (this was causing too much confusion). Using the context menu you can now override inventory location for the entire cart at once (some UI changes coming shortly)
  • Refunds - Inventory location can be overridden when returning products. (This is at the refund level and not the item level).
  • POS - Inventory location can be overridden on POS orders (at the order level). Use the 'More Info' area to override the inventory location.

  • Reservations - On a reservation type basis, you can now decide to charge customers on reservation booking, 48 hrs in advance (the current default), or on checkin. Furthermore there is a 'Don't Charge' option for zero dollar reservations which wont create a zero dollar order.
  • Reservations - For reservations that are zero dollars, customers no longer have to enter a credit card.
  • Customers - The customer list area has a new filter for email marketing status to filter on subscribed and unsubscribe statuses.
  • Reservations - The week view and day view calendar have been updated to make it easier to see reservations when multiple reservations happen at the same time.
  • Customer Addresses / Credit Cards - Customer addresses and credit cards listing have been change to always show the default address and default credit card first.
  • Data Migration - If you are pushing historical orders to Commerce7 you can now push the fulfillment with the order when pushing a historical order.

  • Campaigns - You can now set the from name (rather than just the from email address) on a campaign.
  • Time zones - We've added Canadian Atlantic Time zones to the system (and welcome to a couple Atlantic Canadian wineries)
  • Security - We've increased security. From the web and public APIs a lot of functions like creating customers, resetting passwords, magic links, etc are now limited to 5 calls per 30 minutes from the same user.
  • Security - Most input fields are now blocking text usually associated with script injection attacks (We've never allowed foreign scripts to run, but we are now blocking trying to create them )

  • Fraudulent Orders - We do a lot to block fraudulent transactions (we use tools from Amazon, from our gateway partners, and we have some of our own code for stopping fraud). At the same time occasional a fraudulent order is let through. Now on an order you have the ability to report it as fraud (appears in the context menu). Once reported, it will notify our support team and our product team of a suspected fraudulent order. In additional it will mark the order as fraudulent.

  • Reservations - Confirmation emails now include a link to add to Google Calendar, Office 365 Calendar, etc. (The button is smart enough to highligh which calendar client they likely have).

  • Fulfillment - When fulfilling an order in the Commerce7 admin panel, you can now fulfill from an alternate inventory location and the system will create an inventory transfer for you. (For example, an order is to be picked up at Location A, but the customer comes to Location B. You can fulfill that order and switch the inventory to Location B which will do a transfer for you. This works with both pickup and shipping orders.)

    • Onboarding - Once you complete your onboarding tasks and click Go Live, your transaction emails will automatically be enabled. If your emails were enabled previously, but you still see the onboarding checklist, then you must complete the tasks to re-enable emails.

    • Customers - Customer Rank has been removed from the platform (we are working on other better options). Any tags, queries or cart carrot conditions that had rank as a condition were adjusted. Dynamic tags based on LTV and other values can be used to create custom tiers.

    • Outlook App - The Outlook App by Liminal Functions allows you to view Commerce7 customers in Outlook including viewing club status, purchase history, lifetime value, etc. Create notes and tags right inside Outlook for a customer.
    • Web Hooks - There is now a webhook to be notified when a query is finished executing.
    • Dev Center - There is a new security option in the dev center for developers wanting to access to Club Packages (including Club Shipments and Subscription Shipments)

    • Queries - When you execute a query you now have the option if you want to email the results to yourself or not. (Note its significantly faster to just execute the query and not execute the results. You can then put the results in a tag and just work with the results that way.) Read the documentation.
