Customer Insights

Empower your staff to have better & more personalized interactions with Customers

The Insights feature provides wineries with real-time data about their Customers, helping them to personalize interactions and boost sales.

It gives frontline staff immediate access to engaging conversation starters - including important information like the Customer's purchase history, visit frequency, club membership status and tailored wine recommendations. All of this ensures that interactions remain focused on the Customer's individual preferences.

Why it's important

Frontline Staff: Helps your staff engage Customers with relevant recommendations and personalized service.
Customers: Guests are able to enjoy a more personalized experience with recommendations tailored to their tastes and purchase history.

How it works

You have access to Insights in the POS, on the Customer Record, when creating an Admin Order and when checking in a Reservation.

In the POS

  1. Add a Customer to a Cart in the POS.

  2. Click on the Insights button.

In the Customer Record

  1. Click into a Customer Record.
  2. By default you are on the Summary tab.
  3. Scroll down to view the Insights.

When creating an Admin Order

  1. Choose a Customer and create an admin order.
  2. Click on the Insights button.

  3. The slide-out will display the insights.

When Checking in a Reservation

  1. Choose the Reservation to check in.
  2. Click the Insights icon (lightbulb).

What Insights Will You See?

  1. The first section of results displays the following:
    1. Wine Preferences: This enables tailored recommendations and upselling opportunities.

    2. Visit history: This allows staff to create a more personalized and welcoming experience.

    3. Club membership status & LTV: Identifies current and former club members, along with their membership tenure and any exclusive benefits they may qualify for. This insight facilitates customer retention efforts and allows for more effective, tailored promotions.

    4. Location Data: Informs staff of the Customers' locations, enabling meaningful engagement with out-of-town visitors and facilitating targeted regional promotions.

  2. The next section of the results displays the following:
    1. Purchase history: Shows the 3 most purchased products by a Customer - instantly letting the frontline staff know what this Customer predominantly buys.
    2. Customer Notes: Maintains all winery-recorded notes about a Customer, ensuring continuity in service and fostering stronger relationships over time.

  3. The final section displays the following:
    1. Personalized purchase suggestions: Displays a ranked list of personalized product recommendations for the Customer, enabling frontline staff to offer tailored wine suggestions based on their preferences.

    2. This is based on their purchase history (taking into account price range, wine type and varietal).

A Note About Data Input
It's important to include both Wine Type and Varietal when creating wine products.
These elements are crucial for generating accurate insights. If either of these fields is left blank, the resulting data may be misleading or incomplete.
