What it is
The Related Products widget displays AI-driven recommendations directly on product pages. When a customer is browsing a wine, they will see personalized suggestions based on both the product they are viewing and their own purchase history.
Why we built it
Traditional related product widgets rely on simple rules or manual curation. Commerce7's Related Products widget uses the ML Personalization Engine to analyze both the product and the customer, delivering recommendations that are genuinely relevant to that individual.
Customers find wines they love naturally as they browse, which drives bigger baskets without any curation or upkeep from the winery.
How Does It Work
Related Products is powered by our Personalization Engine, which automatically recommends wines based on the product a customer is viewing, purchasing patterns (such as items frequently bought together), and the customer’s own preferences - surfacing similar products the system predicts they are most likely to purchase.
Enabling Related Products
- Go to Settings > General.
- Navigate to the Website section.
- Toggle 'Related Products' to ON.
If you have a custom website or your designer customized your product pages:

They'll need to update your template to include related products.

They can simply add the Related Products widget and update any styling to match the rest of your product pages.
