AI Features - Churn Prediction, Fraud Scoring & AI Insights
Commerce7 uses AI to help you fight fraud, prevent club member churn & know your customers better
All data processing occurs securely within Commerce7. No information is shared externally or with third parties.
Churn Prediction
View a predicted churn score for each of your club members.
The churn prediction is recalculated with each update to the membership and uses our proprietary formula comparing attributes of the current member to other members like them. We're continually refining the model to make predictions more accurate.
Where to see it:
- Go to a Club Membership page.
- View the Churn Prediction percentage card.

Fraud Scoring
When a new shipping order is placed online, Commerce7 securely and anonymously runs the data through Amazon.com's fraud model to detect and predict fraudulent orders.
Where to see it:
- Go to an Order.
- View the Fraud score card.
A score is returned and displayed on the order with a status of Low, Medium or High, depending on the prediction. If the score is high, the prediction will be returned in Red.
Note that a low fraud score does not prevent an order from being placed.

AI Insights
What exists today: Within the ‘Insights’ panel in Admin, POS, and Reservations, there’s a dedicated wine preferences card that analyzes a customer’s previous purchases to provide a clear summary of their preferred wine types.
That card relies on data that you've entered onto products. For instance, each wine product includes optional fields for type and varietal information. If this information hasn’t been entered, the card won’t be able to generate a preference summary.
With AI Insights: We're using AI to provide a summary of the customer's preferences. We are no longer relying on the data that you've manually entered. Please note that with any AI feature, while it is based on actual data, you may see some slight discrepancies in what's presented and we're continuing to refine the modal to return back more accurate data.
Where to see it:
- Go to the Insights section in Admin, POS or Reservations.
- View the wine preference card. (AI Insights are used for this specific card only).
