Please note: All numbers in the "adjust" fields refer to individual skus, not cases.
In the inventory page, select a product. Next, in the inventory process field, select the option 'Adjust Inventory'. Selecting this option will open up fields to "plus" or "minus" inventory for both the sale count and the reserve count. When you are satisfied with the adjustments that will be made to the sale count and/or the reserve count, click "Adjust Inventory" in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Please note: The number you enter in the "transfer amount" field refers to individual skus - not cases.
In the inventory page, select a product. Next, in the inventory process field select the option "transfer inventory". Select where you want to transfer inventory to and from. Next enter how much inventory you wish to transfer. When you are satisfied with your transfer, click the "reset inventory" button on the bottom right corner of the screen.
Changing the inventory policy
In Commerce7, you can change the inventory policy for every sku to be set to either "Don't Sell" or "Back Order".
If a sku's policy is set to "Don't Sell", when inventory runs out customers will not be able to purchase the sku.
If a sku's policy is set to "Back Order", when inventory runs out customers will be able to purchase the sku.
Inventory policy is first set when a product is created.
To adjust the inventory policy on an existing product, navigate to Store > Inventory, and select the product you wish to change the inventory policy on.
After selecting the product, use the drop down menu to select "Adjust Inventory Policy".
Now use the drop down menu to select either "Back Order" or "Don't Sell".
When you have selected your inventory policy, click "Adjust Policy For All Locations For This Sku".
In Commerce7, you cannot have a different inventory policy based on inventory location. For example, a sku cannot have a back order policy for tasting room inventory and a don't sell policy for club shipping inventory.
Please note: All numbers in the "count" fields refer to individual skus, not cases.
Go to the inventory page and select a product. Next select "reset inventory" in the inventory process field. Enter the quantity of inventory you wish to have available for sale in the "reset availability for sale count" field. Enter the quantity of inventory you wish to have reserved in the "reset reserve count field". When you have filled out both fields, click the "reset inventory" button located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
